Personal data we process
Netto Group processes your personal data because you use our services and/or because you provide this data to us yourself. Below you will find an overview of the personal data we process:
- First and last name
- Email address
- Telephone number
- Company name, company address details, VAT number
- Internet browser and device type
Special and/or sensitive personal data that we process
Our website and/or service does not intend to collect data about website visitors who are younger than 16 years of age. Unless they have permission from their parents or guardian. However, we cannot check whether a visitor is older than 16. We therefore advise parents to be involved in their children’s online activities in order to prevent data about children from being collected without parental consent. If you are convinced that we have collected personal data about a minor without such consent, please contact us at info@nettogroup.be and we will delete this information.
For what purpose and on what basis do we process personal data?
Netto Group processes your personal data for the following purposes:
- Sending our newsletter and/or advertising brochure
- To be able to call or email you if this is necessary to perform our services
- To inform you about changes to our services and products
- To deliver goods and services to you
- Netto Group analyses your behaviour on the website in order to improve the website and tailor the range of products and services to your preferences.
You are not obliged to disclose your personal data, but it is logical that the provision of certain services will become impossible if you refuse to allow processing.
How long we retain personal data
Netto Group does not retain your personal data longer than is strictly necessary to achieve the purposes for which your data is collected. We apply the following retention periods for the following (categories) of personal data:
- Your data will be stored for as long as you are a customer of Netto Group.
- If you are no longer a customer, your personal data will be deleted within three months, except for data that Netto Group is legally required to retain, such as invoices and accounting documents.
- For prospects, personal data is deleted three months after the last contact.
Sharing personal data with third parties
Netto Group only provides data to third parties if this is necessary for the execution of our agreement with you or to comply with a legal obligation.
View, modify or delete data
You have the right to view, correct or delete your personal data. In addition, you have the right to withdraw your consent to the data processing or to object to the processing of your personal data by Netto Group, and you have the right to data portability. This means that you can submit a request to us to send the personal data we have about you in a computer file to you or another organisation specified by you.
You can send a request to view, correct, delete or transfer your personal data, or a request to withdraw your consent or object to the processing of your personal data, to info@nettogroup.be.
To ensure that the request for access has been made by you, we ask you to send a copy of your ID either by email to (info@nettogroup.be) or by post to Belgicastraat 11, 1930 Zaventem, Belgium, enclosing a copy of your identity card. We will respond to your request as soon as possible, within four weeks.
